I've been woodworking for over 40 years; more than that if you count all the projects my dad had me work on while I was growing up, like hanging paneling. Remember paneling? Every living room had it, ours was no exception. About fifteen years ago, I was finally able to arrange my day job schedule so I could take woodworking classes at Palomar College in San Marcos, CA. Now that I'm retired, I'm busier than ever in the shop.

Looking for something creative to do in retirement, I discovered the joy of working with wood. In order to gain some basic skills and knowledge, I attended classes at Palomar College in their Cabinet and Furniture Department. Each finished piece crafted in our studio is a work of joy.
